Weeks Seven and Eight

Hi-

Fine discussions this past week about ecommerce and banking online! As I describe in the podcast, we are truly developing an online community. I am so very pleased with our interactions in the discussion board.

Looking ahead to this week, government and the Internet are on the agenda. We will be examining voting records and special interest group endorsements of incumbents and perhaps some early-announcers for the 2006 elections. I think you will find it surprising just how many services the state of Illinois provides online! We will be combing through the site to find ones of particular interest.

And, in this week's cast, I remind you that our research plan is due at the end of the month. Note that the annotated bibiography of ten quality sites that will form the core of your final paper research is an essential element of the research plan. There are links to annotated bibliographies in ALA and MLA styles in the syllabus.
